Illuminate for Rights – A Creative Challenge for Change!

Access Advocate is excited to launch our first-ever teen competition: Illuminate for Rights – A Creative Challenge for Change!

This is your chance to use your creativity and passion to shine a light on a human rights issue that matters to you. Whether you’re passionate about education, mental health, gender equality, or freedom of expression—your voice deserves to be heard.

To enter, choose a human rights issue you care about and express it through one of the following categories: Art & Design (like posters or photography), Writing (poems or essays), Media (short videos or podcast clips under 2 minutes), or Action (document or propose a mini campaign or awareness event). Submissions must be original and should creatively highlight the issue and its importance.

Prizes include:

• 1st Place: $50 Gift Card, a feature on Access Advocate’s website and social media, and the opportunity to co-host a podcast episode

• 2nd & 3rd Place: Featured recognition and digital certificate

• Honorable Mentions: Shoutouts on our social media platforms

To enter, send your submission to accessrightss@gmail.com by September 1st, 2025. Be sure to include your name, age, school or community, your work (attached or linked), and a short explanation (2–3 sentences) of why this issue is important to you.
